Cancellation Conditions

Any cancellation must be made in writing to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and must adhere to the following terms, whether for individual members of a reservation or for the entire booking:

  • Cancellation more than 8 days before the activity: CHF 20.- is due.
  • Cancellation up to 7 days before the activity: 80% of the total booking price is due.
  • Cancellation up to 3 days before the activity or no notice given: No refund possible, 100% of the total booking price is due.

If you are running late, please inform Aline from TakiTrek at +41 79 922 09 78 or Bertrand from Arco Mushing Team at +41 79 529 68 76 (these numbers should only be used in this case or if you cannot find the meeting point).

  • Aline handles all initiations and sledding tours on Mondays and Thursdays.
  • Bertrand handles sledding tours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

A delay of more than 15 minutes is considered a "no-show" and is treated as a cancellation without notice.

For certain reservations, TakiTrek Sled Dogs and Arco Mushing Team reserve the right to set different conditions than those listed here.

All prices and conditions on the websites are for informational purposes for the current season. They may change without notice and do not constitute an offer or a contractual commitment.

Miscellaneous

  • We work with animals, not machines, and may adapt the routes and services at any time to accommodate the physical or mental needs of the animals.
  • Your pet dogs are not allowed during the activity for safety reasons.
  • Weather conditions are not considered a reason for cancellation.

Clothing Recommendations

We recommend wearing warm ski clothing, gloves, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Suitable shoes for snow (Sorel, Moonboots, or waterproof hiking boots). For panoramic tours, only ski boots are allowed.

Restrictions

For safety reasons, the following people are not allowed in the sleds:

  • Injured individuals
  • Pregnant women
  • Children under 2 years old

People with:

  • Pregnancy
  • Heart conditions
  • Mobility issues (e.g., tendinitis, fractures, severe back pain) are not allowed to participate in introductory sessions.

Meeting Point: Les Ruinettes

  • Google Maps: TakiTrek Sled Dogs or Arco Mushing Team Sled Dogs.
  • Access by car is prohibited and impossible: Access is via the gondola from Le Châble or Verbier.

From Le Châble, you need to take the gondola for about 30 minutes. Make sure to allow extra time!

  • From everywhere except Verbier: Park your car at Le Châble TV, 1934 Val de Bagnes. Take the gondola up to Les Ruinettes to the terminus.
  • From Verbier: Take the gondola from Médran to Les Ruinettes.

Ski passes from Téléverbier and 4 Vallées are valid for the gondola ride. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a pedestrian ticket: Verbier 4 Vallées tickets.

Once you arrive at Les Ruinettes, walk 50 meters towards La Chaux; the departure point is located behind the "Mouton Noir" restaurant.
